At CFI, your road driving time is strictly 1 instructor to 1 student. When your scheduled road block begins, you are behind the wheel the entire time. For maneuvers in our training yard (backing, offset, and 90-degree alley docking), students train in focused small groups of typically 4 students with close instructor oversight.

CareerSource WIOA approved funding — CFI is on the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The process starts with CareerSource Tampa Bay (or CareerSource Florida): you register, complete eligibility and assessments, and receive the list of approved providers. Once you choose CFI, contact us for a letter of intent — which CareerSource requires — and they issue your Individual Training Account (ITA) so training can begin.
